This is our cat Butterscotch- who actually 'owns' my son. He is about 6 feet up the tree and "helping" with the decorating. I was adding the garland and he continuously grabbed the garland with his paws. This happens every year and he goes up and down the tree and spends hours sleeping in the tree before and after it is decorated! We have generally been very lucky and he is very careful and no ornaments have been broken as a result.

how cute..
we just do not do any christmas tree or decorations for that very reason, our girls would destroy it every day 10 times a day..
when we visit mum at xmas we have to keep the lounge door shut if on one is in the room to guard the tree...
